TwistedPunk is a cool Instagram custom filter by Stefan Nitz. I found it hard to describe it. Kind of psychedelic, hallucination tunnel effect in black and white.  It also makes your face appear black and white, colors your eyelids in black and animate the tunnel effect around you.

Kind of a creepy horror-style Instagram camera effect that is different than anything that I've seen before. For a moment after I act in front of the AR camera, I questioned my insanity LOL.

It's even more prominent than what you see in the video clip. Your face is even whiter to emphasize the black tones. The strong contrasty scene produces a very dramatic effect. It encourages users to move their head and do kind of creepy faces to the camera.

If you are among those who like creepy AR camera effects on Instagram, I think you'll like this effect.  There is also a stroboscope flash effect that triggers out when you tap on the display. The combination of cool eye makeup, the stroboscope flash, the animated tunnel and great use of contrasty colors - all make this IG filter definitely worthwhile.

I personally couldn't stop using it. I'm actually glad that not many people saw all the creepy faces I did with this filter. I'm sure many of you will be glad sharing your creepy vids using this super cool visual effects on your IG stories. Well done developer!
