"Hello Gorgeous" is a beautiful glitter makeup filter for the Instagram camera app. This week I've decided to put more effort into making beauty-related IG masks and see how it goes.

After making the Christmas makeup effect, I got some craving for some more digital makeup creativity. I've decided to make one that does heavy use of shiny glitter makeup, something colorful with dynamic lighting and some cool glowy tattoo like writings on the face's skin.

Learning how to make it was the first task, but I got comfortable with making the glitter effect work and I start thinking of simple design ideas. I called it "Hello Gorgeous", something like "Hello Kitty" but instead of kitty just gorgeous, because this makeup filter will make you look stunning.

This Instagram filter uses the Spark AR makeup block. This means that I could easily deploy some eyeliner, lips, eyeshadow and eyelashes coloring. It's all built-in so I just needed to use the appropriate colors for that and apply matching colors to the directional lighting.

At some point, I stopped and I wrapped it up. I was satisfied with the overall look. I've added different virtual tattoo writings. I used handwriting fonts which look best in my opinion for this effect. You can tap on the screen to switch between the various writing designs and I think you like it.

By the way, I darkened the background and the skin so the glitter effect will appear more prominent and more colorful in your videos and photos. I also added some shiny lights popping randomly on different locations on the screen, an extra touch to make it pop more.

I liked the glitter effect and I want to experiment with it more and apply it to the eyes, lips, eyeliner and even the eyelashes. I am already working on other variations and I'll share them later once they are ready to be published on Instagram.
