The Best Christmas Instagram Filters of 2019

In this article, I'll share with you a list of some of the Top Instagram filters for Christmas 2019. Use those camera effects and masks to send inspiring and exciting holiday greeting card messages with those close to you.

Santa Christmas Nose Twerking Filter
Santa Tummy TWRK is a Christmas filter where you can see Santa belly dancing on your own noise. Inspired by the popular nose twerking Instagram filters, this TWRK Christmas camera effect will make everyone who sees you using it smile. A great way to surprise your friends with a funny Xmas effect.
Raise your eyebrows to make Santa Claus's eyes appear bigger and move your nose from side to side to make it appear like Santa is belly dancing. Combine it with some IG or TikTok music for the best results, have fun!
Christmas & New Year's Eve Fireworks Filters
There are several fireworks effects that I've created, so it's not just one. This includes Christmas Fireworks, Happy New Year, and 2020 Fireworks.
These are all based on roughly the same fireworks display AR effect. There is a rotating text with either "Merry Christmas" or "Happy New Year", which circulates your head with beautiful reflections. The highlight of these filters is a vibrant and gorgeous fireworks display show that takes place right above your head. It's very cinematic and will allow you to create some very eye-catching Christmas greeting video that will stand out from the rest, something very unique and special.

Christmas Snowman Filter
'Christmas Snowman' is an Instagram filter that I've created especially for this Chrismas. It's a puppeteering effect where you control the head, eyes, and mouth of an adorable snowman. It has a Chrismas hat with a "Merry Christmas" writing on it.
I put emphasize to make it very atmospheric so you can feel the cold of the Holiday's winter through it. It has breezing wind sound, snowfall animation, and cool winter background. Put your acting into it and have fun.
Santa Is Coming Filter
'Santa Is Coming' is a cool Instagram effect. After you tap the screen, Santa appears riding his deer sleigh and throwing gifts towards your head. Once those presents intersect with your head, they bump off it. You can juggle those gifts on your head and it's super fun to do. It's an effect based on the physics from my 'Soccer Head' video game filter. I'm sure you'll enjoy toying around with this one as well.
Christmas Gifts Filter
Christmas Gifts is a selfie face filter for Christmas. This filter renders snow and fog visuals and breezing cold wind sound effects. When you open your mouth the fog comes out of it.
The best part, however, is when you tap the screen. jingle bell sounds will play and a Santa riding his reindeer sleigh will enter the camera view, greeting your viewers with an "Oh, oh, oh..Merry Christmas!" wishes. Then Santa Claus will drop lots of colorful gift boxes from the sky.
Chimney Santa Filter
Chimney Santa is an adorable and entertaining AR face filter. It positioned a chimney on top of your head with Santa Claus legs popping out. Santa is trying to deliver gifts, but he is stuck inside the Chimney. Open your mouth and you'll see Santa sliding down the chimney, showing his head and body through your mouth. Gifts will also be animated falling, those which Santa Claus wanted to bring to you.
Snowball Throw Filter
'Snowball Throw' is a cool selfie camera effect that I want people to use as a digital Christmas greeting card to send to others.
With this filter, you tap on the screen to throw a big snowball onto your face and the snow stays ono it. You can then pose with some silly faces and enjoy sending an original greeting card to friends and family members. Kids will love it, I'm telling you.
Christmas Makeup Filter
'Christmas Makeup' is an Instagram effect that renders a beautiful 3D virtual eye makeup on your face. It carries the Christmas theme of course with gorgeous winter glittery look, snowflakes touches, white eyelashes and Santa animated above the right eyebrow. If you are searching for a cool Christmas makeup idea, something original, I think you'll enjoy sharing a video of yourself wearing this effect. Try it out, you won't be disappointed.
Self Gift Effect
What's the best gift you can give to someone you care about or love? Well, that's YOU. This is exactly what this "Self Gift" filter is all about. Although I won't be in Japan to enjoy the holidays here, I'll probably plan to come back next year. Halloween was a blast and I enjoyed creating filters for it, as well as review other Spark AR creators' effects. I'm sure 2020 will be an even more exciting year, as more people get into learning Spark AR and sharpen up their skills. I am also planning to learn Snapchat Lens development as well.
